As Rosie &  I sit here in our living room looking through photos and descriptions about Uganda I am in awe at the beauty of the country. I am waiting on news from my big brother to safely land – he is currently on the long flight. He will be staying in Uganda for 3 weeks with 3 of his closest friends – on a church mission. I have heard many neat stories about the people and their scarce living conditions. While I am not ready to hop a plane and go there myself I would like to be able to help in some way to others in dire need.

“When you give joy to other people, you get more joy in return. You should give a good thought to the happiness that you can give out.”

—Eleanor Roosevelt

I currently LOVE looking at others photos. Not been a big fan of travel lately – like to sleep in my own bed personally 🙂 and Rosie doesn’t want to be left behind  – however there is some beautiful country out there. We like to watch & listen (well Rosie actually sleeps thru it all) but I watch @DailyJesusDevotional every morning on YouTube and I love the video footage – makes us want to get out and hike especially now that the weather is getting warmer.
